King County Real Estate Services is looking for a Program Project Manager IV to manage the county’s space needs.We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Space Planner to join our team. The Space Planner will be responsible for optimizing the use of physical spaces, ensuring they meet the function and operational needs of the organization and of tenants. This role requires strong analytical skills, creativity and the ability to collaborate with various departments to develop and implement space solutions. Management of the county’s Space Planning Program, including: Budget Development of the Long-Term Lease FundSpace allocationDevelopment of Space StandardsMove coordinationProject ManagementPlanning and DesignData managementTrend Analysis of best practices2. Prioritize program goals/objectives.3. Determine project or program budget, schedule and scope. Assist in justification of project, program and/or agency budget requests. Determine financial and performance indicators and use evaluation findings to redirect the project or program. Monitor the financial status of the program or projects4. Serve as the technical expert to perform complex research and analysis5. Resolve problems presented by difficult clients or constituents.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
WHO MAY APPLY: This opportunity is open to all eligible and qualifying candidates. This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is therefore not overtime eligible.Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every other Thursday, comprising a 40-hour workweek. Standard working schedule will be between the operating hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is not represented. TEMPORARY TELECOMMUTING REQUIREMENT: This position is considered hybrid with onsite requirements of at least 3 days per week. Remote opportunities are subject to change at the discretion of the supervisor, and at the direction of the King County Executive. Onsite reporting location will be the King County Chinook Building, 401 5th Ave., Seattle WA 98104.Employees must reside in WA state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
