Assistant Director of Nursing Education and Infection Control
Director of Nursing Education is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nurses within our organization. This includes creating curriculum, training materials, and assessments to ensure high-quality education.
Essential Qualifications :
Must possess, at a minimum, an unencumbered active RN license for the State of Ohio.
Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, and a graduate of an approved RN program. (preferably a MSN-Ed, Nursing Education)
Develop and deliver educational programs for nurses, including in-service training and continuing education
Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals
Maintain accurate records and reports related to educational programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, ability to prioritize and manage nursing department
Familiarity with Medicare
Excellent assessment and clinical decision making to prioritize resident needs
Working knowledge of ODH regulations and survey process
Working knowledge of chronic disease management and the clinical needs of the geriatric population
Ability to collaborate with clinical partner.
