We are seeking a passionate and experienced Hiking Group Leader to join our team at King Global Ministries. As a key member of our Adventure Ministry, you will play a vital role in leading hiking groups and promoting a culture of self-love and resilience.
About the Role
The Hiking Group Leader will be responsible for leading groups of hikers on weekly hikes, ensuring their safety and well-being, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment. You will work closely with our Hike Coordinator and Hike Planner to plan and execute hikes, and will be responsible for communicating with hikers and providing them with necessary information.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about hiking, nature, and helping others. You should have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work well in a team environment. You should also be able to hike 3-5 miles, and have a genuine love for nature.
Responsibilities
- Lead groups of hikers on weekly hikes
- Ensure the safety and well-being of hikers
- Communicate with hikers and provide them with necessary information
- Work closely with the Hike Coordinator and Hike Planner to plan and execute hikes
- Engage participants in positive discussions during the hike
- Ensure that emergency procedures are followed in cases of an emergency
