King Industries is looking for an Inside Sales professional with the skills and desire to grow our business. The primary focus of this position is to identify, contact and convert new customers. Working from our offices in Salina, you would be contacting customers by phone and email, as well as making day trips to connect with prospects around the state. With first class customer service and quality product lines, you will have the support needed to confidently approach potential customers.

King Industries is a financially stable, family-owned company that values long-term relationships with our customers and team members alike. This means you will have the ability to build up a strong, consistent customer base to support the commissioned earnings. Potential commissions can exceed $100k/yr and you will be supported by a guaranteed minimum for the first 12 months as you build up your customer base.

Responsibilities

· This position will be primarily responsible for new account acquisition--identifying potential customers, contacting them and converting them to long-term partners.

· Work with leadership and team members to increase overall sales.

· Travel includes weekly trips to contact customers around the state and four trade shows per year. The vast majority of travel is day trips, overnight travel is rare.

· Be flexible with responsibilities and duties.

Requirements

· At least two years of business to business sales experience with a demonstrated history of increasing sales, particularly with regards to new account acquisition.

· Clean driving record.

· Strong computer and spreadsheet skills. Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems beneficial.

· Enjoys learning and comfortable with an environment of constant improvement.

· Desire to genuinely serve our customers and team members.

Pay / hours / schedule

· Salary range - $100,000 potential (commission based)

o Guaranteed minimum for the first 12 months

· Hours – Full time position

· Schedule - Required hours are Monday-Thursday, 7am-5pm. Additional hours may be worked to gain more customers.
