King Law, a general practice firm with offices across western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina, seeks an experienced Transactional Case Manager to join our legal team focusing on Probate, Wills, Estates, and Elder Law.
Our firm specializes in providing compassionate, client-focused legal services. This role will be vital in managing elder law and estate cases, including probate administration and estate planning.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize Clio effectively for case and task management.
- Capture and record all billable and non-billable time accurately.
- Schedule and participate in New Client Case Manager Meetings to gather relevant case details.
- Participate in case reviews to ensure progress and compliance with timelines.
- Set, manage, and complete tasks to meet case milestones.
- Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, including but not limited to:
- Last Will and Testament
- Trusts
- Powers of Attorney
- Health Care Directives
- Probate filings and related court documents
- Conduct client meetings to explain and review legal documents, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Manage communication with clients via phone, email, or in-person to provide updates, answer questions, and resolve concerns.
- Process and deposit client payments and maintain accurate payment records.
- Support attorneys in probate court filings and administration processes, including inventory preparation, creditor notifications, and asset distribution.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation and client satisfaction.

Paralegal experience preferred. Strong organizational skills are a must.
The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Work is expected to be completed in the office.
