We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Online Order Fulfillment Specialist to manage the processing and packaging of online orders for our cannabis dispensary. This role ensures that orders are accurately prepared, properly labeled, and ready for customer pickup or delivery in compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate has experience in retail or fulfillment, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Accurately pick and pack online orders while ensuring all items match the customer's purchase.
- Product Verification: Confirm correct product selection, proper labeling, and compliance with state regulations.
- Inventory Coordination: Work with the inventory team to maintain stock levels and update product availability.
- Customer Communication: Notify customers of order status, pickup instructions, or any necessary modifications.
- POS & Tracking Systems: Utilize dispensary POS and state-mandated tracking systems to ensure compliance.
- Compliance & Security: Follow all state and local cannabis regulations regarding packaging, labeling, and customer verification.
- Store Collaboration: Work closely with budtenders and curbside runners to ensure smooth operations.
- Efficiency & Accuracy: Maintain speed and precision in order fulfillment to meet customer demand.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep the fulfillment area clean, stocked, and organized.
Requirements:
- Must be [21 ] years old (as required by law).
- Previous experience in retail, fulfillment, or inventory management preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cannabis products and compliance regulations is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages when needed.
- Must pass a background check per state cannabis laws.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
