Main Responsibilities
- Oversight of vendor relationships to ensure favorable terms, on-time deliveries, and quality compliance.
- Source, negotiate, and procure materials, components, and services to meet production schedules.
- Servicing as the primary point of contact for key customers regarding procurement and supply chain-related needs and timelines.
- Collaboration with customers to understand supply chain requirements, resolve issues, and proactively address concerns.
- Providing updates on the supply chain to customer service, sales, and key customers when necessary.
- Monitoring supplier performance and developing contingency plans to mitigate risks or disruptions.
- Management and optimization of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
- Collaboration with production and planning teams to ensure material availability and align procurement strategies with production timelines.
- Implementation of best practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance supply chain visibility.
- Leadership, coaching, and development of a procurement and supply chain professional team to achieve operational excellence.

- Collaboration with production, engineering, logistics, and quality teams to align procurement and supply chain strategies with organizational goals.
- Communication of material constraints, changes, or risks to internal stakeholders to support proactive planning.
- Support of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain and procurement processes.
- Analysis of data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Preparation of monthly reports for senior management on important metrics such as material pricing, freight analytics, market trends, etc.
