Salary range: $90,000 - 110,000

Requirements
Essential Job Functions & Duties:
- Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS policies and training.
- Support food safety and quality initiatives; participate in audits and corrective actions.
- Schedule 2–3 facility technicians to maintain 24/7 support coverage.
- Lead the preventive maintenance (PM) program for facility systems; balance proactive and reactive work.
- Manage small facility projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Oversee contractors and vendors as needed for facility-related work.
- Supervise repair and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, lighting, refrigeration, hydraulics, and structural systems.
- Troubleshoot facility-related mechanical and electrical issues; coach technicians on safe, effective resolution.
- Oversee storeroom operations: manage inventory, track spare parts, and maintain CMMS data integrity.
- Maintain the technical library (manuals, schematics, P&IDs).
- Respond to facility emergencies and support infrastructure readiness and response planning.
- Ensure operation of utility systems: boilers, ammonia and freon refrigeration, air compressors, hydraulics, fryer exhaust, fire suppression, and building systems.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, WISHA, EPA, PSM, HAZMAT, and other applicable regulations.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and required compliance documentation.
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including 2 years in a leadership role; food industry preferred.
- Experience with storeroom/MRO inventory systems and CMMS preferred.
- Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, refrigeration, and facility systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work with PLC-based systems.
- Formal training in mechanical, electrical, or related technical field.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA, SDS, chemical safety, and LOTO requirements.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and access tight or elevated areas.
- Work in hot, cold, wet, or noisy environments typical of a food plant.
