What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Planner position at King & Prince Seafood?
What you'll do :
This position is located at our manufacturing facility, in Lebanon, IN and will work closely with the maintenance, electrical, quality, and sanitation teams to ensure we have all the necessary parts and materials on hand to maintain plant operations.
- Overall management of the maintenance parts and materials stockroom
- Management and auditing of the stockroom inventory utilizing the CMMS software
- Manage daily inventory transactions (including usage, receipts, and PO's verification)
- Ability to put in requisitions for low quantity parts
- Plan technician and contractor work through CMMS
- Schedule work and communicate with Contractors as needed
- Communicate with Maintenance personnel daily to ensure the schedule is kept.
- Responsible for ordering routine / emergency replacement parts and supplies and expedite delivery
- Work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment of all invoices
- Identify, quote and source non-inventoried parts
- Receive and coordinate all daily UPS and FedEx deliveries
- Set-up new inventory items as identified by internal departments
- Manage sending out stock parts for necessary repairs and rebuilds
- Work with vendors to build relationships and identify cost savings opportunities
