We are seeking a Client Support Specialist to join our team in Gainesville Florida. This is an on-site position, Monday - Friday.
Requirements:- Become familiar with company insurance products.
- Answering calls and responding to customer inquiries.
- Accessing customer accounts and policy schedules.
- Processing payments, simple endorsements such as address changes, pulling documents.
- Providing customers with detailed information about policies and products.
- Liaison between agents, carriers, and customers.
- Identifying accounts for upsell or cross sell potential and forwarding customers to sales agents when a policy needs to be initiated or upgraded.
- Typing up complaint reports.
- Managing the customer complaint database.
- Scanning and attaching files when necessary.
- All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of database software.
- High-level typing skills.
- Advanced knowledge of telephone and call forwarding systems.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Ability to explain detailed policy concepts in a simple way.
- Personal and/or commercial lines insurance lines knowledge.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3 years of customer service experience.
- Previous experience working as a customer service representative.
