Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the school, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust and clean surfaces, windows, and walls.
- Ensure all restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Take out trash and recyclables and dispose of them appropriately.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas like doorknobs, handrails, and light switches.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained and stocked.
- Follow safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Must pass a background check (required by the school).
