Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle custodial duties across different facilities, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist with residential painting and minor maintenance tasks as needed.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Respond promptly to any cleaning requests or emergencies to ensure the facility remains safe and presentable.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing, is a plus.
- Experience in custodial services or facilities maintenance is advantageous.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
