We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring that all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Execute floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain the appearance of floors.
- Handle custodial responsibilities in both commercial and residential settings, adapting to the specific needs of each environment.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while performing cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or residential painting is an advantage but not required.
