King’s Harvest Ministries serves the poor and homeless in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas. King's Harvest Ministries is a non-profit organization providing meals, groceries and necessity items to those in need.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The chef is responsible for planning and preparing three nutritionally balanced meals per week for 100 guests. The chef will plan menus utilizing donated foods available. The chef will prepare meals following ServSafe procedures. The chef is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized environment. The chef will assist with receiving and checking in food donations. The chef is responsible for meal site inventory and minimizing food waste.
QUALIFICATIONS
1 year experience cooking in a commercial kitchen
ServSafe Certification or equivalent

Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods of time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
