Description
· Responsible for assisting in planning, directing, and coordinating all operations and personnel management. Ultimately responsible for managing the restaurant.
· Monitor all restaurant operations and conditions to ensure the quality of the product and guest services.
· Monitor job performance; food and labor costs, budgets, and sales; labor payroll sheets.
· Complete knowledge of all expectations of the Manager position.
· Effective coaching/counseling.
· Manages HR issues.
· Trains and mentors FOH employees.
· Orientation of all new staff.
· Understand General Ledger.
· Knowledge of accounts/approved vendors.
· Bar management.
· Liquor inventory.
· Maintain budgeted food and beverage cost.
· Involved in increasing bar sales.
· Produce cost effective specials.
· Liquor ordering.
· Handle cash transactions, comps, or voids, and amounts of cash.
· Enter all invoices.
· Create FOH schedules using 7Shifts.
· Keep marketing material current.
· Menu spec compliance.
· Knowledge of Health Inspections.
· Display good judgement.
· Maintain a positive attitude and professional approach to coworkers and customers.
Requirements
· Strong knowledge of front and back of house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory, and food safety
· Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability.
· Strong communication and leadership skills.
· Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
· Ability to lead big groups of people.
· Minimum of 3 years of current experience as a FOH Restaurant Manager in a full-service concept.
