Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team of restaurants. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our team members are motivated and engaged.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the General Manager in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including but not limited to, scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of King Street Oyster Bar : To provide excellent food prepared with the freshest ingredients while engaging ourselves whole heartedly into the community, one oyster, one person, and one neighborhood at a time.
- Ensure that all team members are trained and motivated to provide exceptional service to our guests
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment for all team members
- Ensure that all food and beverage products are prepared and served to our guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and revenue
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed at all times
- Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs and followed and completed on a timely basis.
- Schedule and receive beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity.
- Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
