About the Job:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Supplier Development Engineer I to optimize quality, cost, and productivity within our network of contract manufacturing partners and supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement work instructions and quality requirements for manufacturing.
- Review and approve supplier documentation to ensure compliance with KTI standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design, manufacturing, and material specifications meet KTI requirements.
- Lead early supplier involvement efforts to foster strong relationships between King and supply chain partners.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Analyze supplier performance and drive accountability through regular reviews.
- Develop and utilize KPIs to measure performance and communicate status.
- Lead preventive and corrective action teams to resolve production, customer, and supplier issues.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent with minimum 3 years' experience.
- General knowledge of core manufacturing processes, including injection molding, small part assembly, and consumer packaging.
- Experience with qualification standards and development tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA for supplier development.
