KingBarnes, a respected and growing law firm in Cape May and Atlantic County, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced attorney with at least 2 years of experience to focus on Real Estate and Business Transactions, Planning and Zoning, and Estate Planning. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and accommodation made for a personal book of business.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited law school
- Admission to New Jersey bar required (Pennsylvania and Florida preferred)
- law, land use law, business transactions or estate planning
- Excellent legal research, writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team and ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships
- Experience representing clients in administrative hearings is a plus
Ability to Relocate:
- Northfield, NJ 08225 or within reasonable commuting distance: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal transactions, including property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing and business transactions, including stock purchase agreements, membership interest purchase agreements and liquor license transfers.
- Advise clients on land use and zoning regulations, including obtaining variances and municipal and county approvals.
- Represent clients in administrative hearings and before governmental bodies, such as zoning boards, planning commissions, and city councils.
- Negotiate, draft, and review contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and development agreements.
- Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions, identifying potential issues related to zoning, land use, environmental regulations, and title matters.
- Advise clients on compliance with state and local regulations, including environmental, safety, and building codes.
- Collaborate with clients, developers, municipal officials, and other legal professionals to achieve clients’ goals in complex real estate and development projects.
- Advise clients on estate planning and prepare wills, trusts and other estate planning documents.
