```Duties```

QuickBooks Proficient

Microsoft Excel / Word Proficient

-Maintain and balance general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare financial statements and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors.
- Secure financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential.
- Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

```Requirements```
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of budgeting, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with public accounting and corporate accounting practices
- Technical accounting skills
- 10-key typing proficiency

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
