Kingdom Productions is a Design/Build firm specializing in developing themed environments, dimensional signage, icons, exhibits, fixtures, and modular structures for cultural attractions (theme parks, water parks, zoos, aquariums, museums) all over the United States.


Summary:

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting processes. This role involves managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and ensuring policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to all aspects of the accounting operations of the company. You will work closely with the President, General Manager, Sales Team, Estimator, and Project Managers.


Responsibilities


Manage Accounting Operations:

  • Oversee accounts payable and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, communicating with customers, invoicing, etc.
  • Review bank statement reconciliations and manage outstanding checks.
  • Collaborate with staff to enhance payable and invoicing processes.
  • Assist with annual audits and tax filings.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and variance analysis.
  • Support monthly close activities and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Generate invoices for KP’s work and submit them to customers.
  • Manage bank deposits and reconcile company credit card transactions.
  • Maintain KP’s financial reporting processes (internal and with partners)
  • Maintain accounts receivable and payable files, investigating open items as needed.


Payroll Processing:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for KP staff (34 employees) and auxiliary staff.
  • Review and verify payroll data to ensure accuracy in employee compensation, tax withholdings, and benefits deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Ensure proper tax classifications and allocations.
  • Manage and oversee KP’s 401k program.


Process Improvement and Internal Controls:

  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient and effective accounting procedures.


Leadership:

  • Providing guidance on day-to-day tasks
  • Provide training and technical support to all staff on accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist with projects as needed.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional accounting experience is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience is required.
  • QuickBooks experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
