Position Purpose

Under the direction of the radiologist, performs appropriate diagnostic exams and studies to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Uses professional judgment to adapt imaging procedures to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education : Graduate of an ARDMS approved (registry eligible) Ultrasound Technologist program, an approved ARRT program RT (S) or RT (VS), or an approved registry eligible CCI (RVS) program.
- Certification: ARRT or RDMS certification in one or more of the following areas: Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast, or Vascular must be obtained within six months of employment in the Ultrasound position.
- Certification : Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
Preferences Minimum one year of experience in Ob/Gyn, Abdominal, and/or Vascular ultrasound.
