Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure accurate aging by applying payments and issuing credits.
- Create an action plan to recover outstanding payments and contact debtors regarding payment status.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies; establishing good customer relationships; updating account status and database regularly.
- Perform daily cash management duties, including recording bank deposits, updating and distributing cash receipt logs, and posting cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
- Manage and facilitate Promotional and Brokerage payments.
- Research customers' credit and provide credit suggestions, alert management of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts; complying with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.
- Back up for Invoice processing as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Controller and/or Assistant Controller.
Skills/Qualifications
- Associate's degree or High School Diploma/GED.
- 3-5 years experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, and/or Billing.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Understanding of basic principles of finance and accounting.
- Superb time management and detail orientation.
- Ability to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collections targets/goals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft
