We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team in a new, state-of-the-art kitchen. If you have a passion for culinary arts and want to advance your skills, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Job Description:
- Prepare and Cook Menu Items: Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
- Maintain Kitchen Standards: Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations, maintains a clean and sanitary workstation, and follows proper plate presentation and garnish set-up for all dishes.
- Multi-Tasking: Multi-tasks and anticipates needs in a fast-paced environment, responsible for closing the kitchen according to the closing checklist, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience in a kitchen environment required.
- Passion for Cooking: Knowledge and passion for cooking.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Authorization: Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Background Check: Background check required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Standing and Walking: Work is primarily standing and walking primarily on a level surface, though the occasionally slippery floor.
- Lifting and Moving: Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs.
- Noise Level: Moderate noise level in the work environment.
