Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring that medications are stocked and organized appropriately.
- Provide patient service by answering questions regarding medications and their administration.
- Support IV infusion processes under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, including medication administration and IV infusion techniques.
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient service and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
