Experience: Minimum 1 year months in housekeeping area, as well minimum 6 month as housekeeping inspector. Espanol/ Ingles
Supervisory Responsibilities: Room Inspector, when is needed, supervises housekeepers. Must be able to communicate instructions effectively with staff members and create a fun and comfortable environment. Must balance constructive criticism with positive feedback.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for ensuring that all housekeeping cleaning standards are being maintained by having a thorough understanding of all standards.
2. Responsible for inspecting hotel guest rooms.
3. Responsible for inspecting hotel common areas (lobby, offices, workout room, pool kitchen and restrooms)
4. Identify trends or issues in which employees may need additional training to meet the housekeeping standards.
5. Assist in the implementation and maintaining of the quality assurance or cleanliness program.
6. Identify areas in which new or updated cleaning standards may be needed to ensure the highest quality of cleanliness and assist in training the housekeeping team on these standards..
7. Ensure constant communication with the Housekeeping leaders to identify areas for improvement.
8. Attend all scheduled meetings.
9. Maintain written and/or verbal reports to housekeeping managers.
10. Ensure standards of cleanliness are met in all areas of responsibility following proper Wyndham Standards.
11. On low occupancy days this position may perform the duties of a housekeeping rooms, laundry operation task or Attendant.
12. Maintain good relationship with team member and guest.
13. Ensure that all restocking of amenities are completed and placed into plastic bins for housekeeping use.
14. Maintaining proper care of company equipment and client property. Utilize chemicals and equipments properly and as prescribed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
