Position Overview : As Operations Manager, for the City of Tampa Parking Operations you will be the driving force, responsible for leading Kings property management team within the City of Tampa Parking Operations Division. You are responsible for ensuring that Kings contract requirements to the City are fully met. You will oversee day-to-day operations, fostering a customer-centric culture, and leading a high-performing team to achieve and exceed targets. Your strategic mindset and dedication to delivering top-notch service will play a pivotal role in driving growth and success.
Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of daily business operations including budging, staffing, scheduling, inventory control, customer service, and sales.
- Effectively manage, develop, and lead the on-site team to include Assistant Manager (AM), Supervisors, Day Porters, and Administrative Assistant.
- Responsible for achieving annual revenues and profits, managing expenses, Independent Contractor (IC) margins, managing temporary labor (if applicable) and meeting / exceeding overall financial management of the operations of services offered.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize client satisfaction.
- Develop and manage the departmental budget.
- Oversee quality control measures, and inventory control of equipment and supplies.
- Support the sales process by assisting with operations and cost analyses, and by providing technical support in the development of service proposals.
- Achieve annual revenue growth goals.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
- Develop and maintain impactful professional relationships with vendors and Independent Contractors (IC).
- Ensure ICs are compliant with requirements to service Kings clients and ensure they meet clients’ scope of work.
- Responsible for promoting and driving cross-selling opportunities with the sales team and driving non-janitorial services.
- Meet regularly with clients to ensure their satisfaction with current contract services and to identify their changing needs and requirements.
- Understand all customer contract commitments and schedule services accordingly.
- Allocate resources appropriate for customer sites, while maintaining appropriate inventories of supplies.
- Review service delivery and staffing reports to ensure identification of service and / or contract issues.
- Responsible for participating in new client startups for the duration of the new start.
- Responsible for ensuring building inspections are completed, followed up with and all client data is maintained in the Work Order Program.
- Communicate with client and staff members to ensure efficient operations.
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and ability to influence others.

- Ability to effectively coach and lead others.
- Policy and Procedure Adherence :
- Ensure all policies and procedures are meticulously followed, fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and accountability.
- Conduct training activities to ensure compliance with company and client policies and procedures.
- Conduct periodic inspections of all facilities.
- Recruit, interview, and hire qualified staff for open positions.
- Provide leadership, insight and mentoring to newly hired employees to ensure they are successful.
- Ensure company vehicles are properly maintained and always clean
- Additional operational duties as needed
