- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash cans and replace trash liners throughout the facility.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, handrails, and light switches.
- Ensure all floors are clean, safe, and free from hazardous debris (i.e., spills, trash).
- Perform periodic deep cleaning of assigned areas.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor or facilities management.
- Ensure that all cleaning products and tools are safely stored and used according to safety protocols.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment, ensuring that cleaning equipment does not create hazards.
- Report any safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Comply with all safety guidelines and procedures while performing tasks.
- Collect and dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Ensure trash bins are emptied regularly and maintained in an orderly fashion.
- Greet and assist employees, visitors, or guests as needed.
- Respond to requests for additional supplies (such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and ensure they are replenished as necessary.
- Report supply shortages to management to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, and floor buffers.
