We are looking for an SAP ABAP Developer for our Deland, FL office!
As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP ABAP programs and solutions. You will work closely with functional teams, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality technical solutions that meet business requirements. Your role will involve coding, debugging, and optimizing SAP applications to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Development & Customization:
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Customize standard SAP functionalities to meet specific business requirements.
- Develop and optimize ALV reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
Integration & Interfaces:
- Develop and maintain RFCs, BAPIs, IDocs, and other integration points between SAP and external systems.
- Work on data migration and conversion projects using LSMW, BDC, and other tools.
- Ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems.
Enhancements & Modifications:
- Implement user exits, customer exits, BAdIs, and enhancement frameworks to extend standard SAP functionality.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing ABAP programs to resolve issues and improve performance.
Collaboration & Support:
- Collaborate with functional teams and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical support during testing, implementation, and post-go-live phases.
- Assist in resolving production issues and ensuring system stability.
Performance Optimization:
- Analyze and optimize the performance of ABAP programs and SAP applications.
- Implement best practices for coding, debugging, and performance tuning.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and SAP best practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong expertise in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
- Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, CO, or PP is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, or SAP BTP is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its migration considerations is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP ABAP certification.
- Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and OData services.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA database and CDS views.
