Responsibilities
Sentinel is seeking an Application Developer to support our partners throughout the business. We are looking for experienced full-stack engineers who will acquire a passion about writing successful code to aid in our client’s B2B2C enterprise. By cultivate a deep understanding of day-to-day e-commerce domain expertise, you will lead a cross-functional agile team, collaborating closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers, focusing on delivering value. This is a contract to hire position that can be remote with occasional onsite support in the Palm Coast, FL office.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in application development being responsible for reviewing and releasing code
- Must have experience with React.JS, Magento 2 and Gatsby
- Experience with Windows, Linux and OSX
- Experience with SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, Git, Cypress, Jest, Mocha
- Exposure to NetSuite and Sage, Kotlin, Apache Camel would be preferred
- Deployment experience with Ansible
- Expert understanding of industry best practices and standards
- Strong understanding of agile, lean, and DevOps principles
- Strong understanding of testing and CI / CD.
- Willing to work on occasional weekends highly preferred
- Experience with scaling services, performance
- Passion for reliable, scalable, observable software with a strong sense of ownership
- Capacity to work in high growth, fast-paced environments, and can adapt to change
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to empathize with customers, stakeholders, and other engineers
- Acute attention to detail and dedication to quality
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
