- Performs all work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a clean, safe work environment.
- Set up, install, and adjust molds according to production specifications.
- Operate molding machines to produce parts that meet quality and production standards.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functioning and quality output.
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet required specifications.
- Make necessary adjustments to molds or machines to correct any production issues.
- Document and report any quality issues or deviations from standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on molding machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or technical issues with molds and machines.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for more complex repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Identify opportunities to improve mold setup, operation efficiency, and product quality.
- Ensure molds and machines are operated in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Participate in safety training and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Work closely with production supervisors, engineers, and quality control teams to meet production goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues promptly.
- Provide training and guidance to new or less experienced technicians as needed.
- Monitor material usage and inventory levels of spare parts.
- Track spare parts, break downs, and repairs of molds in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (PEMAC).
