The Municipality of Kingston is seeking applicants for the full-time position (s) of Laborer in the Department of Public Works.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to refuse & recycling collection, road maintenance, parks & recreation maintenance and public facilities maintenance. All applicants for employment in the Department of Public Works must be U.S. citizens, physically & mentally fit to perform the full duties of a laborer, and prior to employment, possess a valid driver’s license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Also, applicants must agree to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License as per the conditions of the labor agreement between the Municipality and the Department of Public Works.
As a Laborer in the Department of Public Works, you will be integral to maintaining and improving public infrastructure. Reporting to the Supervisor, your role involves performing various physical tasks, operating equipment, and ensuring safety standards are met. A valid driver's license and CDL are essential for this position. Core skills include teamwork and reliability.
