Objective:
An HR specialist is responsible for supporting a company's human resources functions by managing various aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, policy enforcement, and record keeping, often focusing on a specific area like recruiting, compensation, or employee development within a larger HR department; they advise employees on company policies and procedures, answer HR-related questions, and ensure compliance with employment laws
Essential Functions:
Key responsibilities of an HR specialist may include:
Posting job openings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, screening applicants, and coordinating the hiring process.
Welcoming new employees, facilitating orientation, managing necessary paperwork and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations.
Enrolling employees in benefits plans, answering benefit-related questions, and managing changes to coverage.
Addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and maintaining positive employee relations.
Supporting performance review process, providing feedback to employees, and identifying development needs.
Ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations, including maintaining employee records and updating policies.
Organizing and delivering training programs, identifying training needs, and managing employee development plans.
Assisting with payroll administration and related inquiries.
Tracking key HR metrics, generating reports, and analyzing employee data to inform decision-making.
Additional Responsibilities & Skills:
Managing and coordinating schedules for the HR department, including meetings and events
Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects
Discretion and the ability to keep data private
Identifying, evaluating and solving hiring challenges
Compiling information about compensation and benefits packages based on market data
Project and time management skills
Attention to detail & organizational skills
Budget management skills
Creating a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections
Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
Creating employee engagement plans, and initiating activities
Collaborating with outside vendors, upper management and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities
Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities

Required Education & Experience:
Human Resources 2 years (Required)
Proficient in ADP software
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
High school; diploma or equivalent
