Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical bookkeeper to join our small manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with financial records, preparing reports, and assisting management with the company's financial information. This role requires proficiency using accounting software and an understanding of basic financial concepts to support the organization’s financial health.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of invoices.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation to verify accuracy of accounts.
- Utilize financial software to record transactions and generate reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.
- Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Experience
- Proven experience in assisting in accounting tasks, understanding the concepts of debits and credits.
- Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Sage/MAS100, is highly desirable, but not required.
- Experience in handling accounts payable functions is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, including balance sheet reconciliation
- Being part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.00 - $54,000.00 per year
