Essential Functions
- Review and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement compilations
- Prepare financial statements using accounting software
- Perform other accounting functions as needed and/or assigned
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- Prior experience working in public accounting and/or a CPA firm is a bonus
- Strong knowledge of accounting best practices
- Proficiency with computers, using desktop and cloud-based office, accounting, and tax software
- Excellent and clear communication skills
- Aptitude for working in a team environment while also being able to self-direct work load and work alone to get the job done
- Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
- Able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and rapidly shifting environment
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Thrives in a very fast-paced environment that requires frequent shifting of focus from one client or task to another
