JOB SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, sustain the organization’s system of record human resources information system (HRIS: SAP/SF & ADP). Collaborate with the Nitto America payroll manager with record changes in the payroll system. Serve as a subject matter expert and technical point of contact to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. In addition, conduct a variety of routine and moderately complex human resources functions as needed. Provide high-level of service to customers both internal and external.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates requisitions for recruitment, hiring candidates via HRIS – SF and partnering with recruitment to ensure onboarding is completed utilizing the payroll system (ADP) ensuring digital records are included in employees’ records.
- Creates HRIS validation tables for existing and new processes. Collaborates with the HR team to process change status notices such as new hires, terminations, adjustments, promotions, and supervisor changes.
- Preserves HRIS databases, by ensuring data integrity, and conducting regular audits. Resolves HRIS - SF issues with 3 party administrator.
- Creates and sustains a variety of reports using appropriate reporting tools. Develops ongoing standard reports for Human Resources department and management.
- Participates in the Employee Performance Management process including launching, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Originates HRIS procedural training materials, quick tips, help documents, etc. Develops and delivers training to end users.
- Administers Sales Incentive Plans ensuring semi-annual plan documents are signed by all sales staff and payment is submitted to the appropriate Nitto Affiliate on a timely basis.
- Partners with Nitto America in administering the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure employees complete compliance courses required.
- Provides human resources services to Hydranautics international employees across various time zones.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; and 5 years’ related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:
- Proficient in Identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; and uses solid reasoning.
- Proficient in understanding and interpreting Federal, State, and local employment laws; foreign labor law, a plus.
- Proven ability to manage change in a complex and often challenging manufacturing environment.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work functions; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks, if needed; and develops realistic action plans.
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility in responding to rapidly changing, dynamic processes and demands/pressures in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite software applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, and other enterprise software applications such as HRIS, Applicant Tracking, Performance Management and Payroll systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to work across organizational groups, with the proven ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of people, including building partnerships to coach management and employees. Ability to present moderately complex issues to groups or individuals.
- Provide high-level customer service and conflict resolution skills, with an emphasis on team building.
- Sustain current knowledge and new developments in the field with day-to-day application of subject matter and ongoing willingness to attend seminars as necessary.
- Working knowledge of social media applications, HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Bilingual or Multi-lingual in languages frequently used within the Nitto Group of Companies, a plus.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES:
- HR Certificates preferred in one of the following:
- Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR); or,
- Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP); or,
- Human Resources Management Certificate (HRMC).

- Position works in an office environment involving prolonged sitting in front of a computer workstation.
