Lead Water Restoration Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by water damage, mold, and other environmental hazards. Your expertise will help ensure that our clients' homes and businesses are returned to their pre-loss condition efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various restoration tasks, ensuring safe and effective operation.
• Conduct mold remediation processes to eliminate hazardous materials from affected areas.
• Perform water damage restoration services, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
• Clean and restore carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces impacted by water or mold.
• Assist with asbestos abatement procedures when necessary, following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop restoration plans tailored to each project.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding the restoration process and any necessary follow-up actions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in restoration work.
• Knowledge of mold remediation techniques and water damage restoration practices is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
