Director of Product Development
Our client is a leading company in the cannabis industry and is seeking a strategic team member for our new role - Director of Product Development. This position is a hands-on role responsible for formulating, developing, and continuously improving world-class cannabis products, including THC infused beverages, edibles, vaporizers, and other emerging product categories. This position will work closely with executive leadership to execute product strategy while directly performing development, formulation, and packaging optimization. The Director will ensure that product innovation aligns with production scalability, compliance, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5 years of hands-on product development experience in food, beverage, or cannabis.
- Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Strong background in lab formulation, stability testing, and flavor chemistry.
- Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) / alcoholic beverage formulation is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
