What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Kinship?
Kinship and Métier are the restaurants of James Beard Award Winner Chef Eric Ziebold. The restaurants are located in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of the city, in an historic building dating back to 1907. Métier offers an intimate dining experience revolving around a seven course tasting menu in an 11 tables dining room. Both restaurants commit themselves to offer creative and contemporary American cuisine with a continued dedication to hospitality.
We are currently seeking a Host. Qualified candidates must have 1 years previous experience as a Host (in a chef-driven environment preferred.) A natural aptitude towards hospitality, attention to detail and a genuine desire to create a memorable experience for our guests is key for this position. A flexible schedule is necessary along with the ability to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
