Kinsley Steel Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our team in Richmond VA. This position is a 2nd Shift position and will be responsible for operating and programming our Peddinghaus Angle Master , ensuring precision and quality in every cut while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program the Peddinghaus Angle Master to cut, punch, and mark steel materials according to specifications.
- Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling.
- Accurately read and interpret parts drawings and tape measurements down to 1 / 16th of an inch.
- Document material cut lists and job details in EPMgo .
- Conduct machine setups, adjustments, and basic maintenance as needed.
- Lift up to 100 pounds occasionally in a safe manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
- Be willing to crosstrain on other machines and operate them as needed
- Be willing to perform other tasks across the operation as needed and requested by Shop Management
