Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle bookkeeping – Manage all accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable – Process transactions, AIA billing, collections, and vendor payments.
- General Ledger & Reconciliations – Maintain financial records, reconcile bank & credit card statements.
- Certified Payroll & Job Costing – Track project costs, ensure subcontractor compliance, and handle payroll processing.
- Financial Reporting – Prepare reports for leadership, ensuring transparency in financial operations.
- Compliance & Vendor Relations – Confirm insurance requirements, manage tax filings, and assist with audits
Experience Required
- Construction Industry Experience (Mandatory) – Candidates must have prior experience handling bookkeeping for a general contractor, subcontractor, or construction-related company.
- QuickBooks Proficiency (Mandatory) – Strong command of QuickBooks is required.
- Strong Attention to Detail – Ability to manage multiple accounts, track project finances, and maintain accuracy.
