The Dealer Development Manager at Kinze Manufacturing, Inc. plays a crucial role in driving growth and success within our dealership network. This position requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that ensure high-performing dealerships throughout Illinois, Iowa, and Nebraska.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of market conditions to identify opportunities for expanding the Kinze Dealer network.
- Prospect Development: Research and identify potential dealership candidates, analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and dealer performance.
- Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified dealership prospects for expansion efforts, ensuring timely follow-up and effective communication.
- Dealer Onboarding: Collaborate with District Sales Managers to ensure smooth transitions and successful dealer assignments, quarterly cadence included.
- Performance Improvement: Develop action plans to correct deficiencies in all performance areas within the dealership, focusing on financials, sales, and inventory management.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Customer Service to provide comprehensive dealer support and address performance deficiencies across all dealership areas.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5-7 years dealership development experience and/or agricultural business lending, with a background in agriculture, construction, or heavy machinery.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, professional articulation, persuasive abilities, client-service orientation, initiative-taking, ability to identify customer needs and resolve issues quickly, and highly responsive to customer requests.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, or related field.
