The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $24- $29.50 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. This will be a first shift position Mon-Fri 6am - 3pm.
Tasks and Qualifications :
What You Will Do in This Role :
Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including tasks such as belt tracking, component adjustment / replacement, and component lubrication.
Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures to ensure efficient equipment performance.
Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot and repair electrical circuitry.
Construct and complete work orders within the asset management system, recording in-depth data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts employed.
Troubleshoot conveyance issues and figure out resources needed to resolve them successfully.
Locate and track spare parts inventory to ensure minimal downtime.
Perform complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure all systems meet strict specifications.
Assist with training customers to confidently operate equipment.
Respond promptly to service calls and address equipment failures and faults accurately.
Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to resolve them efficiently.
What We Are Looking For :
High School diploma or equivalent experience required. An Associate’s degree or vocational technical training is preferred, and specialized skill training / certification is highly advantageous.
Demonstrates a senior-level knowledge possessing 5-7 years of experience in a technical or specialty area.
Proven experience in area of responsibility with a successful track record of performing the key tasks listed above.
Strong customer-facing skills, maintaining professional communication through email and in-person interactions with onsite customer leadership, Dematic leadership, and technicians.
Ability to lead projects, manage teams, and direct day-to-day operations and tasks for the onsite maintenance team.
Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds each.
Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
Capability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitations.
Must be comfortable working in different conditions such as tight spaces, dust, fumes / odors, hot / cold temperatures, loud noises, and wet or uneven surfaces.
