Software Sales Engineer
The Software Sales Engineer is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical software advisor and solutions advocate for our kiosks. The Software Sales Engineer must be able to articulate Kiosks software, services, and product offerings to customers via phone conferences and in person meetings. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
· Apply technical knowledge of product offerings to support sales cycle.
· Work with the customer, stakeholders and Product Owners to understand customer requirements and translate to solutions; actively participate in customer and internal system requirement gathering sessions
· Ability to demonstrate software products and solutions to customers and internal stake holders
· Serve as the voice of the customer to define expected features and functionality for internal teams
· Work with hardware solution engineer to understand the software capabilities of components/devices and propose unified solution to customers
· Communicate development processes and methodology to customers and work with internal teams to enhance the same as and when required
· Collaborate with the software development team to ensure accurate project execution
· Comfortable working with multiple teams within organization and represent customer needs when required
· Create and maintain software solution documentation
· Be the Subject Matter Expert for all software products kiosk builds, resells or supports
· Good understanding of software development methodologies including Agile, Kanban etc.
· Evaluate customer requirements and develop SOW proposals for engineering development and custom software opportunities.
· Support general and technical inquiries from Sales Team.
· Utilize time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
· Handle multiple and parallel projects.
· Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Required Skills:
· Bachelors degree in software engineering or related technical discipline.
· 3-5 years of experience in software engineering or product ownership; 3 years of experience in technical selling or sales support preferred.
· Experience with Agile development and software development life-cycle methodology
· Must be able to learn new component technology, act as a self-starter, and manage many different priorities.
Desired Skills:
· Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills and demonstrated experience communicating technical information. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting proposals.
· Experience with software demos is a plus; ability to estimate software development and engineering hours for new applications preferred.
· The candidate should be organized and analytical and have the ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

· Up to 10% Travel
Physical:
· Must be able to sit and stand 8 hours
Starting Annually Salary - $65,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
