JOB SUMMARY
KIOTI Tractor, a leader in the design and manufacture of compact tractors, utility vehicles, turf care, and compact construction equipment, is seeking a Parts Strategy Manager to join their team onsite in Wendell, NC. The Parts Strategy Manager is responsible for helping to oversee the overall parts inventory management and life cycle, including the monitoring/analyzing of current inventory levels, parts ordering, parts returns, parts sales, parts fulfillment, etc., and create strategy for parts and service sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB
- Oversee and manage the Parts Warehouse team, including the evaluation of staffing through performance feedback and annual performance reviews.
- Create and maintain the strategy for Parts and Service business.
- Measures, evaluates, and improves the Parts department and initiates training to further develop personnel and processes.
- Identifies and resolves issues related to parts and customer satisfaction.
- Meet regularly with parts warehouse management to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for maximizing the fulfillment rate.
- Financial management of parts sales including profit and cost management as well as preparation of company reports pertaining to departmental budget, parts sales, freight expenses, warranty claims and loss management.
- Reviews and approves adequate plans for the control of budget spending, inventory, customer service, and order entry efficiency.
- Presents analytical reports on parts performance as requested by Executive management.
- Acts as a knowledgeable resource/advisor to members of the Parts Management Team.
EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or distribution company
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or similar field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience with Solomon, CRM, and other applications are a plus
- Effective leadership and sales skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analysis and judgment skills
