Job Description
KIPP Nashville seeks a self-motivated Manager of Talent Recruitment who is fueled by our mission to create opportunity-filled lives for students across Nashville. This person will be a key driver in building a robust and diverse pipeline of teacher talent through relationship-building, collaboration and effective stakeholder management. While supporting our schools directly, the Manager of Talent Recruitment will be a member of KIPP Nashville’s regional School Support Team and will report directly to the Director of Talent Recruitment. Above all, this role provides the opportunity to tangibly impact the greatest determining factor of a child’s educational success: teacher quality.
Responsibilities of the Manager of Talent Recruitment include, but are not limited to:
Full-Cycle Recruitment and Selection
Develop strategic partnerships with organizations and universities to grow broad and diverse pipelines of Lead Teacher candidates
Develop innovative strategies for researching and cultivating identified pools of talent and individual prospects
Build authentic relationships with connectors and prospective staff
Work closely with the Recruitment Team and KIPP Nashville stakeholders to identify, attract, and select diverse, high-quality candidates
Conduct application reviews, video interviews and phone screens to support a rigorous, efficient and equitable selection process
Hire for designated openings with top quality candidates
Ensure candidate matriculation by developing relationships with prospective talent, creating a positive candidate experience with timely communications, and speak transparently and compellingly about the KIPP Nashville mission and vision
Consistently monitor the progress of prospective candidates throughout the recruitment process; manage cultivation and selection data and use data to drive change in efforts
Attend key recruitment events such as career fairs, conferences, panel discussions and networking events
Stakeholder Management
Directly support Hiring Managers by coordinating a smooth, tailored recruitment process from identification of qualified applicants through all steps leading to hiring decision
Build close, collaborative relationships with principals and hiring teams to ensure alignment of the recruitment process with program needs
Dedicate time to observing classrooms and connecting with KIPP Nashville staff to develop a deep understanding of organizational fit
Create tools and train school-based staff on recruitment best practices ensuring a positive candidate interview experience and equitable selection process
Data Tracking & Analysis:
Track metrics related to recruitment, lead generation, cultivation and selection
Manage systems to track contacts made through cultivation, selection progress to date and next steps
Analyze recruitment, cultivation and selection data to evaluate various strategies and improve sourcing and selection efficiency
Qualifications
Recruitment and/or K-12 teaching experience with a strong track record of success, highly preferred
Strong project management skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated success in building relationships and trust with leaders, teachers, students, parents and community
Demonstrated passion for the mission, vision and values of KIPP Nashville; comfort and willingness to actively participate in the KIPP Nashville community
Bachelor’s degree, required

Additional Information
Compensation
Salary range is $55,000-75,000
This position is exempt, and will work and be compensated according to a 12 month administrative schedule.
This is a hybrid role. Employees will be able to work both from home and are required to come in the office periodically. Our offices are located in Nashville and Antioch.
Robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance policy options. Application for these benefits may be made immediately upon employment. The policy is effective upon the first of the month following the first day of work.
The vacation package for salaried employees includes 29 paid days throughout the 12 month work schedule (including holidays, fall break, thanksgiving break, winter break). In addition, employees in this role are allotted 15 PTO days. Eligible staff members receive payment for unused PTO days at the end of the fiscal year.
Adoption/Parental Caregiver Leave- up to 10 weeks parental leave for the primary caregiver and 2 weeks parental leave for the secondary caregiver paid at 100%.
Leaders are provided with laptop computers with access to the internet and or email to assist them in performing their job responsibilities.
