What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prior Auth Specialist position at Kirby Medical Center?
Job Summary: Responsible for requests for medical treatments, procedures, and medications. Communicates with insurance payors to ensure timely treatment, verifying patient insurance coverage, and computing patient insurance benefits. They work closely with clinic staff to manage approvals and denials; help minimize rejections and organizes peer-to-peer reviews when needed. This position also requires you to work with all departments of the hospital and clinic.

Regulatory Requirements:
