Responsible for assisting the Sales and Marketing department with strategic planning and executing department goals.
Sales Administrator Essential Functions
- Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal
- Documents, organizes, and files all sales and rental quotes
- Tracks and reports on sales activities
- Processes and files sales orders and related paperwork
- Documents sales territory plans and goals
- Enters call reports in NDS and pull weekly NDS reports
- Prepares pricing and payoff worksheets
- Copies, files, and maintains weekly prospect lists and quote logs
- Assists in contract administration
- Drafts or assists with preparing and reviewing proposals, quotes, and documentation
- Orders, files, and maintains literature files
- Assists marketing team with internal CRM system
- Assists Sales and Marketing with strategic planning and execution as directed
- Arranges meetings as directed; this includes but is not limited to the meeting venue, catering, seating, materials preparation, and audiovisual
- Ensures consistent and reliable on-site attendance
- Performs other job-related duties as needed
- Five (5) years of recent experience as a sales administrator or in an inside sales position
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of NDS software a plus
- Demonstrated experience in working with various types of vendors and price list management
- Strong financial analysis skills - margins, profits, calculations
- Effective communication skills and excellent customer service skills
- Adept at organizing, planning, and task completion to manage a high volume of department paperwork
- Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 20 pounds without assistance
- Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
- Sit for long periods
