Fertilizer Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in farm operations, pest control, and landscape management. This role requires hands-on experience with farm machinery, as well as proficiency in using hand and power tools. The Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our services while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Operate and maintain farm machinery to support various agricultural tasks.
• Implement pest control measures effectively and safely to protect crops and landscapes.
• Provide lawn care services, including mowing, fertilization, and weed control.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various maintenance tasks around the farm and landscape areas.
• Assist in sales efforts by providing knowledgeable recommendations to customers regarding products and services.
• Drive vehicles as needed for transportation of equipment and materials to job sites.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in farming, pest control, or landscape management is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lawn care practices and techniques.
• Proficiency in operating farm machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving company vehicles to job sites.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift
