Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Maintain floors through buffing and care to ensure they are in pristine condition.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or maintenance.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.
• Provide porter services as required, ensuring the movement of materials and supplies is efficient.
• Execute commercial cleaning duties in various settings, including offices and public spaces.
• Support residential painting projects when necessary, contributing to overall facility aesthetics.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment used for cleaning and maintenance.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning supplies and their applications for different surfaces.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
