We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction tasks. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals.
Duties
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired texture and appearance.
- Apply various finishing techniques such as troweling, smoothing, and polishing to ensure high-quality results.
- Work with metal stud framing and masonry as part of the overall construction process.
- Utilize caulking methods to seal joints and prevent water infiltration.
- Restore damaged concrete surfaces to maintain structural integrity and appearance.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to interpret schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Assist in construction estimating by providing input on material needs and project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Skills
