Tier One Precast Concrete is a precast concrete operation specializing in T-Walls and L-Walls. Tier One provides walls to the tri-state area for Steel and Canvas Buildings, Silage Bunkers, Grain Bunkers; Sand, Salt, Mulch, and Aggregate Bays; Temporary Walls; Waste and Recycling; Security Walls and Hazardous Containment.

Tier One Precast is looking to hire a motivated self-starting Precast Concrete Crewmember to join our team. The right candidate must be a problem-solver, have strong communication skills, and also be willing and ready to learn. Please note that this role is NOT for an assembly line position. This role is similar to a construction laborer position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Work with co-workers to strip, set-up and pour the form in a timely manner.
- Work with the Quality Control Department to ensure optimal quality.
- Take direction from leadership.
- Maintain a safe environment and have good housekeeping skills while working.
- Improve the efficiency of the department.
- Have knowledge of quality program and be able to perform quality work.
- Come to work with a good attitude and work the hours needed to fulfill the job requirements.
- Knowledgeable of day-to-day tasks that are performed and are aware of what the next step is without being told.
- Previous heavy equipment operation skills.
- Previous welding and/or carpentry skills.
KEY REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Willing and able to work safely in a construction environment.
- Able to perform manual labor: Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs. bend, stoop, kneel and climb.
- Able to have good attendance.
- Able to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
- Must have transportation to and from work.
- Licensed and insurable driver for a Class D vehicle.
- Read a tape measure, and have good general math knowledge.
- Follow work orders.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally.
- Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently.
- Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day.
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequently.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements.
- Moderate to high risk of safety precautions.
- Moderate to high exposure to the production environment.
- Wet, hot, humid, and wintry conditions (weather related) (plant specific)
- Ability to work outside year-round (plant specific)
